Julie Deandra Schwartz is the founder of Count On Me Tutoring. She graduated from Binghamton University School of Management, where she served as a selected mentor for the Women in Business program. Before founding Count On Me Tutoring, she worked as a Compliance Manager, developing a systems-driven approach to accountability, analysis, and performance.
When Julie began tutoring, she noticed something unexpected: students weren't just struggling with content—they were struggling with how they thought and performed under pressure. Many understood the material but still lost points because of hesitation, poor decision-making, time management, or second-guessing.
That insight led her to create the Performance Thinking Process™, a framework designed to help students become confident, independent thinkers rather than students who feel they need tutoring before every test.
Her philosophy is simple: the goal isn't to create long-term dependence on tutoring. The goal is to build students who can perform on their own.
